Set high in the midst of the Iberian System mountain range, the road through the pass, also known as Alto de las Tres Cruces, is completely unpaved. It’s called Ruta Alto de las Tres Cruces.

How long is Alto de las Tres Cruces?

A 4x4 vehicle is required to complete the drive. Tucked away in the central part of the country, the road is 9.1 km (5.65 miles) long, running south to north from Puerto de Santa Inés to Puerto de Montenegro. The drive offers stunning views of the Urbión and Castejón peaks.
