Located within the Timanfaya National Park, the beach features strong tides and many jellyfish. It is the most unpredictable and dangerous coastline on Lanzarote, and bathing is a foolish idea regardless of how strong a swimmer you are.
Can I drive to Playa del Paso on the Canary Islands?
The road to the beach is entirely unpaved, surrounded by black lava flow and rocks. Starting from the paved LZ-704, the road is 4.1km (2.54 miles) long. It’s usually closed, blocked by a metallic barrier.
