Mirador d’Arànser
Mirador d’Arànser, also known as Mirador de Aransa, is a natural viewpoint at an elevation of 2.143m (7,030ft) above the sea level, located in the comarca Alt Urgell, Lleida, Catalonia, in north-eastern Spain, near the French border.
Located in the Pyrenees mountain range, the road to the viewpoint is unpaved. Recommended from late spring to early fall, since you´ll go through mountain roads where there is often snow. 4x4 vehicle recommended. Along the way you can enjoy a high mountain environment typical of the Pyrenees area. At the summit sits a big sculpture and an observation deck. The road is pretty steep.
