Lago Agnel
Lago Agnel is a high mountain reservoir at an elevation of 2.332m (7,650ft) above the sea level, located in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont.
The road to the summit is called Strada Provinciale 50. It’s asphalted but pretty steep, with sections up to 12.3%. It is closed between 15th October and 15th May, and Sundays in July and August the last six kilometres of the road are closed to cars. The road ends at Colle del Nivolet.
Located in the Eastern group of the Graian Alps in Italy, the lake is situated between the Aosta Valley and the Piemont region, in the heart of the Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso. The road is very busy during summer weekends.
