Road SP35
Strada Provinciale 35 is a very challenging road in the Calabria region of southern Italy. The road is very steep with several hairpin turns, offering stunning views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The road is 18.5km long. It’s a shortcut from the towns of Castagnelle and San Fili, two small towns in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region on the Strada Statale 107. The journey offers an exhilarating driving experience, with superb views.
The road is asphalted in dreadful conditions with dozens of turns and 16 hairpin turns. It’s very steep, with sections up to 12% climbing from 364m to 1.001m above the sea level. The road is not easy, though. Up, down, right, left all the time. Expect some narrow sections, totally impassable for 2 cars at the same time. The journey offers stunning views of the the Tyrrhenian Sea.
