Monte La Mula
Monte La Mula is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.934m (6,345ft) above the sea level, located in the Calabria region of southern Italy.
The road to the summit, located within the Parco Nazionale del Pollino, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s an extreme trail. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle required. Expect a trail very steep. There’s an abandoned cinnabar mine (active in the period 1851-1892) along the trail.
