Alpe Vieille
Alpe Vieille is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.240m (7,349ft) above the sea level, located in the Valle d’Aosta region, in northwestern Italy.
The road to the summit is gravel, narrow, steep and pretty bumpy. It’s an old military road. It heads up into a side valley passing old barracks and a deserted settlement. The road is usually impassable in winters.
