Prato Nevoso
Prato Nevoso is a ski resort in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, at an elevation of 1.735m (5,692ft) above the sea level.
The road to the summit is called SP237. It’s asphalted, narrow, and pretty steep, with sections up to 11.4%. The climb has been used by the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France races. Starting from Frabosa Sottana, the ascent is 13.2 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 953 meters. The average percentage is 7.2 %. At the summit there’s a communication tower.
