Monte Novegno
Monte Novegno is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.672m (5,485ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy.
The road to the summit is mostly gravel. It’s pretty steep, narrow, and full of hairpins turns. It’s impassable after rains or snowfalls.
The pass is also known as Monte Cogolo or Malga Novegno. The road to the summit is an old military road. Near the summit there’s a military fortress from WWI called Forte Rione da Santa Caterina.
