Lago Nero
Lago Nero is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 2.014m (6,607ft) above the sea level, located in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont.
The road to the lake is gravel and pretty narrow. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and the road can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. Expect a trail pretty steep. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable.
