A narrow paved road to Lago di Malga Bissina
Lago di Malga Bissina is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 1.815m (5,954ft) above the sea level, located in the Val di Daone, in the Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.
The road to the lake is asphalted but pretty narrow and steep in some sections. The route winds its way along the gently sloping valley road, which is closed to traffic from late November to May.
The road encompasses miles of stunning views through twisty hair pin corners, high elevations and steep grades. Although the gradients are not very steep, the route is fairly long and therefore quite strenuous. The surrounding environment is wild, silent and remote, and certainly has a charm of its own. Staring from Limes, the road to the lake is 13.9km long and features a couple of narrow unlit tunnels.
