Where is Sella Nevea Pass?

The pass is located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, in the northeastern part of the country, near the border with Slovenia.

Is Sella Nevea Pass paved?

The narrow, curvy road to the summit is fully paved. It’s called Strada Provinciale 76 (SP76). The surface is fair, with some repairs along the way. There are a few tight hairpins, but not too many. Be cautious of the typical Italian road design, featuring hairpin turns inside 3 or 4 unlit tunnels.

How long is Sella Nevea Pass?

Set high in the Julian Alps, the road through the pass is 27.6km (17.14 miles) long, running west-east from Chiusaforte to Cave del Predil, near Predil Pass.
