A scenic paved road to Colle di Joux
Colle di Joux is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.640m (5,380ft) above the sea level, located in the Aosta Valley of northwestern Italy.
Set high in Val d'Ayas, the road to the summit, also known as Col de Joux, is totally paved, with narrow and steep parts. It’s called Rue Colle di Joux. The pass road is 22.5 km long, running west-east from Saint-Vincent to Brusson.
The pass has been featured in the Giro d’Italia race. Starting from Saint Vincent, the ascent is 15.6 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 1.065 meters. The average percentage is 6.8 %.
