Colle della Cavallina: a narrow paved road to the summit
Colle della Cavallina is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.934m (6,345ft) above the sea level, located in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region of Piedmont.
The road to the pass is asphalted. It’s called Strada Provinziale 335 (SP335). It’s narrow (impassable for 2 cars at the same time) and very steep. It has gradients up 15% and is often marked as closed. The climb is 13.9 km long, starting at Stroppo, on the SP422.
