How To Travel To Barmasse Refuge
Rifugio Barmasse is a high mountain refuge at an elevation of 2.169m (7,116ft) above the sea level, located in the Alps, in Aosta Valley, Italy.
Set high in the Cervino Valley, the road to the hut is totally unpaved. It is only possible to reach the refuge by car on certain days of the summer, authorized by Torgnon council.
Barmasse refuge is located near the artificial dam of Lake Cignana and has running water, light and thirty beds. A minor gravel road, at the right side of the reservoir on the way to Finestra di Cignana, climbs up to 2.352m (7,716ft) above the sea level.
