A military paved road to Teglia Pass

Where is Teglia Pass?

The pass is located in the Liguria region, in the northwestern part of the country, near the French border. It lies between the Argentina and Arroscia valleys.

Is Teglia Pass paved?

The road through the summit is fully paved. It’s called Strada Provinciale 17 (SP17) and has a military origin.

How challenging is Teglia Pass?

The road has an alpine character. It’s best to avoid it if you’re not comfortable driving on mountain roads, as it features narrow sections, countless turns, about 32 hairpin bends, and areas with dangerous drops. There is also a risk of rockslides.

How long is Teglia Pass?

The pass is 26 km (16 miles) long, running from Andagna to Rezzo.
