Colle del Mulo is a high mountain peak, at an elevation of 2,523m (8,277ft) above sea level, located in the province of Cuneo, in the Italian region of Piedmont.

The peak is located in the southwest of the Italian region of Piedmont, in the northwestern part of the country, near the French border.
Is the road to Colle del Mulo unpaved?
The road to the summit is entirely unpaved and very challenging. It’s very narrow, with dangerous drop-offs and steep sections. A 4x4 vehicle is required.
Is the road to Colle del Mulo open in winter?
Set high in the Hautes Alpes, to the north of Colle Bandia/Caserme della Bandia, this road is usually impassable from late October through late June or early July (depending on snow).
When was the road to Colle del Mulo built?
The southern side is reached by a gravel ex-military road, built between the '30s and '40s. At the northern side, the road is incomplete (it was not finished because of the war in 1943), and the pass is only reachable by a path.
