Tseramio-Anavryti Road
The Tseramio – Anavryti road is a very scenic journey located west of Sparta, on Greece’s Peloponnese peninsula.
The road is asphalted in pretty bad conditions. It’s 9.5 km long above the Evrotas valley and links the villages of Anavryti and Tseramio. The road is a delight to drive, with every kind of twist and turn. The journey offers great views of Sparta.
This route is not recommended if your passengers are prone to car sickness. The drive is very steep. Starting from Tseramio, at 220m above the sea level, the road is 9.5 km long via 10 hairpin turns. The elevation gain is 570 meters. The average gradient is 6%, with some sections up to 10%.
