The peak is located slightly north of Kreuzjoch, in the southern part of the country.
Is the road to Kreuzeck unpaved?
The road to the summit is a chairlift service road. It’s totally unpaved and comprises many narrow and steep sections. A 4x4 vehicle is required.
Is the road to Kreuzeck open?
Set high in the Wetterstein mountain range, the road is totally impassable in winters. It’s usually closed to private vehicles.
