Colle Plane
Colle Plane is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.222m (7,290ft) above the sea level, located on the border of Italy and France.
Located in the Ligurian Alps mountain range, the road to the summit is gravel and narrow. It’s usually impassable from November to June. 4x4 vehicle recommended.The pass links the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France and Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont. At the summit there’s a mountain hut called Capanna Morgantini. It was built in 1977.
