How To Have The Ultimate Road Trip To Bocca à Canaghia
Bocca à Canaghia is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.848m (6,062ft) above the sea level, located in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica. It’s one of the highest roads of Corsica.
The road to the summit, located within the Regional Natural Park of Corsica, is totally unpaved. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle required. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable. Near the summit there are a couple of mountain refuges. The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long.
