Pointe de Pastourlet
Pointe de Pastourlet is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.313m (7,588ft) above the sea level, located in the Hautes-Alpes department in southeastern France.
The road to the summit, located in the Queyras mountains, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). 4x4 vehicle required. Expect a trail pretty steep. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable. Its many twists, turns and narrows can pose a challenge to even the most experienced drivers. The road is not easy, though. Up, down, right, left all the time.
