Colle de Carsene
Colle de Carsene is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.221m (7,286ft) above the sea level, located in the Cottian Alps, between France and Italy.
The road over the pass is called Via del Sale road. It’s a gravel and rocky high mountain road. The road that is traversing the pass was originally built with military function and was used during the Second World War. It’s closed from November 1 to March 31 every year.
