Col des Trabesses
Col des Trabesses is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.916m (6,286ft) above the sea level, located in the Ariège department of the French Pyrenees.
The pass is traversed by the asphalted road D25, linking Mijanès (south-east) and Ax-les-Thermes (west). There's very little traffic and the higher you get the greater the sensation of exposure! The pass has been climbed several times in the Tour of France. The road is pretty steep, with sections up to 10% near the summit.
