A winding road to Bocca di Sorba in Corsica
Bocca di Sorba is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.311m (4,301ft) above the sea level, located in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica. The road to the summit is awesome, with sections up to 10.7%. Tight bends and faster sweepers. It’s one of the highest roads of Corsica.

It’s called D69 and is subject to winter closures due to snow and is subject to strong winds. The pass is located in south-central Corsica. The road to the summit has been featured several times in the Tour de Corse – Rallye de France.
There are 2 routes to reach the summit. Starting from Ghisoni, the ascent is 10.1 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 641 meters. The average percentage is 6.3 %. And starting from Vivario, the ascent is 9.2 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 651 meters. The average percentage is 7.1 %. Do not hesitate to have some stop in the small villages along the way.
