Col de la Met is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.750m (9,022ft) above sea level located in the Savoie department of France. It's one of the highest roads in Europe.

Where is Col de la Met?

The peak is located in the Rhône-Alpes region, in the south-eastern part of the country. At the summit you will enjoy a very beautiful view of Lac de Mont Cenis and the surrounding mountains. 

Is the road to Col de la Met unpaved?

The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It’s a chairlift access trail, only open in summers. A 4x4 vehicle is required. The trail is very rough and extremely steep. It's one of the highest roads in the country.
