Faux Col de Restefond is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2,656m (8,713ft) above sea level, located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in France. It's one of the highest roads in the country.

Where is Faux Col de Restefond?
The pass is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the southeastern part of the country, within the Mercantour National Park. It is located near Col de la Bonette, Cime de la Bonette and Col de Restefond.
Is Faux Col de Restefond paved?
The road to the summit is mostly paved. It’s called C4 (Route de Nice). This pass is not strictly on the road to Col de la Bonette, but most visitors claim to have reached it, even though they may not go the extra 50 meters on the gravel road below.
Is Faux Col de Restefond open?
Due to its high elevation, the road through the pass is closed between October and May.
