The road to Col Nazie, pure adventure
Col Nazie is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.902m (6,240ft) above the sea level, located in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France.
The road to the summit is mostly paved. The road has some narrow parts, so proceed cautiously and hope no other vehicles come from the other direction. Not recommended if you don't know how to reverse. Starting at Besse, the road to the summit is 4.9km long.
Beyond the pass a good quality gravel road leads to Col de Saint Georges-Chalet Josserand. The zone is prone to heavy mist and can be dangerous in low visibility conditions.
