Set high in the Mercantour National Park, the road to the summit is totally paved. It’s called D54. Access to the pass is open all year round.

Tucked away on the southeastern part of the country near the Italian border, the pass is 8.6 km (5.34 miles) long running east-west from Col de Braus (D2204 Road) to Pas de l’Escous (D21 Road).
