At the gateway to the Mercantour National Park, Guillaumes is a charming village nestled at the bottom of the high Var River valley, on the road to Cayolle Pass. The road ends in Valberg, set in the splendid alpine environment of the Mercantour Massif. The town is located just one hour from the French Riviera and Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport, at an elevation of 1,672 meters above sea level.
