Route 9552
Route 9552 is a very scenic drive located in Lapland region, northern Finland, north of the Arctic Circle.
The road is mostly unpaved in very good conditions. There are many excellent photo opportunities here. Don’t forget your camera! The views from the road during autumn season are the best. Absence of traffic. The weather on this zone is harsh and highly unpredictable.
The road is 75.3 km long between 955 (near Pokka) and 80 (near Kittilä) roads. The ride is rather remote, so you need to be prepared. You can feel the silence of this uninhabited area. It’s a great road with fantastic views. In case of a breakdown, there is very little in the way of passing traffic or inhabitants around, and no cell phone service in parts.
