Skagen Nordstrand is a remote beach located at the northern tip of Denmark’s Jutland peninsula. It is the northernmost point in the country.

Located in the North Denmark (Nordjylland) region, Skagen Nordstrand is popular for both walking and swimming. It is famous for being the spot where the Kattegat and the North Sea meet and collide. On windy days, the beach offers a great walk with views of the North Sea's big waves. It’s also known for having some of the most fantastic sunsets in Denmark.
How Long is the Road to Skagen Nordstrand?
The road to the beach is mostly paved but pretty narrow. It’s 2.5 km (1.55 miles) long, starting from Road 40 in Skagen. There is a parking lot at the end of the road. Along the way, you'll pass by several bunkers, the Radarhoved Skagen military base, and the Skagen Vest Fyr lighthouse.
