Stubnerkogel
Stubnerkogel is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.232m (7,322ft) above the sea level, located in the Austrian state of Salzburg.
The road to the summit, located in the High Tauern mountains south of Salzburg, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s a chairlift access road. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Great trail for experienced wheelers.
Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road. The summit offers breath-taking views on Bad Gastein and its surrounding mountain peaks.
