Driving the wild paved road to Coma de Ransol
Coma de Ransol is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.932m (6,338ft) in the parish of Canillo, in Andorra.
The road to the summit is called Carretera de Ransol. It’s asphalted, steep (with sections up to 11%) and pretty scenic. At the summit there’s a parking lot. It’s usually impassable from October to June. Starting from Ransol, the ascent is 4.52 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 280 meters and the average gradient is 6.19%.
