Guide to the Curmătura Vidruţei
Curmătura Vidruţei is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.589m (5,213ft) above the sea level located in Vâlcea County, Romania.
Tucked away in the Latoritei Mountains, the road to the summit is paved (with potholes). It’s curvy and steep. Open to traffic throughout the year, the road may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. The pass is 40.6 km long, running west-east from Obârşia Lotrului to Voineasa.
