Where is Pesica Lake?

The lake is situated in the northeastern part of the country, beneath the highest peak of Crna Glava. There’s a legend about the lake, where a white horse with wings and blue eyes is said to emerge from the lake at night and fly above it.

Is the Road to Pesica Lake Unpaved?

The road to the lake is totally unpaved. It’s called Pešića Rupa. A 4x4 vehicle is required, as it features narrow parts and steep sections.

Is the Road to Pesica Lake Open in Winter?

Set high in the Bjelasica Mountain, the road is usually impassable in winter.
