The Road to Gemitas Is Not for the Faint of Heart
Gemitaš is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2,183m (7,162ft) above sea level, located in the Prizren District of Kosovo.
Where Is Gemitas?
Set high in the Šar Mountains range, the pass is located in the southern part of the country, near the border with North Macedonia.
How Long Is the Road to Gemitas?
The road to the summit is completely unpaved, and a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach the top. Starting from the unpaved R113 Road, near Radika Pass, the road to the summit is 4.0 km (2.48 miles) long.
