Conquering the highest paved road of the Czech Republic to Praded
Praděd is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1,489m (4,885ft) above sea level, located in the Czech Republic.

Where is Praděd?
The peak is located on the border of the Moravian-Silesian and Olomouc Regions, in the eastern part of the country.
What’s at the summit of Praděd?
There is a 162m tall broadcasting tower on the peak. It was built between 1968 and 1983. The tower houses a small hotel and a restaurant. The upper platform is used as a watchtower. It is a great place for hiking. The High Tatras, Malá Fatra Mts., and Alps can be seen from the watchtower platform.
Is the road to Praděd paved?
Set high in the Hrubý Jeseník range, the road to the summit is fully paved. It’s said to be the highest paved road in the country. It’s currently closed to cars and motorcycles.
