Ultimate 4wd destination: Maranjab Caravansary
The Maranjab Caravansary is located in the most northern part of Isfahan Province, in Iran.
The road to one of the oldest caravansaries in Maranjab is 46.3 km long. The road is gravel and sand. This trail passes through remote areas, so you need to be prepared. This route is not suitable for normal cars. 4x4 recommended.
If you dare to take the risk and travel along this dusty and bumpy route, then make sure to be driven by someone who has experience of the road. The Maranjab caravansary was built with the aim of safeguarding commercial caravans on the southern shore of Namak salt lake, in 1644 a.c.
