Set high on the northeastern part of the country, the road to the summit, also known as Bomdila, is mostly unpaved. It’s called NH13 road, aka Chariduar - Tawang Road. It’s an uneven climb with steep ramps. Be aware of the landslides.
How long is Bomdi La Pass?
The pass is 55.3 km (34.36 miles) long running from Dirang to Rupa. With hundreds of turns and hairpin turns, if you’re prone to car sickness better avoid the road. The road offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and a gateway to the region's many attractions.
