214 County Road
214 County Road is an asphalted high mountain road located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, bordering Nepal.
Starting from the G318, the road is 87.6 km long. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and it can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. Located in Nyalam County, on the Tibetan Plateau, the drive offers stunning views of some lakes: Paiku Co, Langqiang Co and Baikumai Co. Its highest elevation is at 4.926m (16,161ft) above the sea level. Notorius lack of oxygen that tests the organisms and a high degree of steepness. Most people feel altitude sickness at around 2,500-2,800 meters. Extremely low oxygen for engine combustion.
