Kongka La, a road less traveled
Kongka La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5.192m (17,034ft) above the sea level, located on the disputed region of Aksai Chin in the Chinese-Indian Line of Control.

Nestled in the Himalaya Range, the road to the summit is totally unpaved. 4x4 vehicle required. The road is closed to civilians and foreigners. It’s said to be a permanent UFO base near the summit. Notorius lack of oxygen that tests the organisms and a high degree of steepness. Most people feel altitude sickness at around 2,500-2,800 meters. Extremely low oxygen for engine combustion.
