The road through the pass is fully paved and in excellent condition, yet extremely demanding, as the climb to the summit includes countless curves, most of them hairpin turns. It’s called G341, also known as Weibei Highway.

The pass is 75km (47 miles) long, running west-east from Huzhu Tu to Tiantangxiang.
