Ayich’ingil Lerrnants’k’ is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.466m (11,371ft) above the sea level, located on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. It’s one of the highest roads of the country.
Located in the Caucasus mountain range, the road to the summit is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). The peak links the Syunik Province of Armenia and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable.
