Driving the Curvy Road to Jabal Akhdar in Oman
Jabal Akhdar is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2,312m (7,585ft) above sea level, located in the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. The road is well-maintained but might be stressful for some people because of the incline and many curves.

The road through the summit is fully paved and in good condition. However, beyond Duwaykhilah, it gets narrower. The drive is quite challenging, with steep sections and 20 hairpin turns. Since 2011, the mountain has featured as the principal climb in the Tour of Oman road bicycle race.
