Sak se Pad Pass
Sak se Pad Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.942m (6,371ft) above the sea level, located in KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa. The road to the pass is not for sissies. This route should not be attempted by inexperienced off-road drivers or in a single vehicle.
The road to the summit is gravel. Only 4wd vehicles. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. It’s very steep, with sections up to 1:3,2. This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain making it challenging to get through. This one will be slippery when wet and lethal when it snows. During and after a storm the road may be impassable, even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle. This route should not be attempted by inexperienced off-road drivers or in a single vehicle. It lies on private land and permission has to be obtained from the landowners to complete the route.
