Located within the Ejagham Forest Reserve, the road, part of the main N6 road, is completely unpaved and becomes impassable after rains, even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle. No car can traverse this road during the rainy season—only motorbikes can make it through. The area is also dangerous due to conflicts between Cameroon's military and armed separatists.
