Otavi-Tsumeb Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1,478m (4,849ft) above sea level, located in the Oshikoto region of Namibia. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.

Is Otavi-Tsumeb Pass Paved?

The road to the summit is fully paved. It’s called B1 and is quite steep, with some sections reaching a gradient of up to 7%.

How Long is Otavi-Tsumeb Pass?

Located in the northern part of the country, near Etosha National Park, the road is 61.2 km (38 miles) long, running north-south from Tsumeb (the largest town in the Oshikoto region) to Otavi (in the Otjozondjupa Region).
