The Dades Valley, or “Road of a thousand Kasbahs” runs from Ouarzazate and stretched 100 miles to the east to Tineghir and the Todra Gorge. It is situated at about 70 km. outside of Marrakech, and its peaks reach an altitude of about 3.273 kilometres. The roads to climb the summit are P2028 and P2030. Both are dramatic and nicely paved roads that twist and turn its way through the valley from which the resort takes its name, this is about 20km in length, climbing at over 5% most of the way, with some tougher kilometres at up to 8%.
