The Conor Pass, which runs from Dingle on the southern end of the peninsula towards Brandon Bay and Castlegregory in the North, in County Kerry., is the highest mountain pass in Ireland, at an elevation of 410 m above the sea level.

The Gap of Dunloe is a narrow mountain pass between Macgillycuddy's Reeks (west) and Purple Mountain (east) in County Kerry, Ireland.

The R115 road is a regional road in counties Dublin and Wicklow in Ireland. It follows the Military Road for its entire length. The R115 is 40 km (25 mi) long; the full length of the Military Road (Rathfarnham to Aghavannagh) is 55 km (34 mi). The Military Road starts in Rathfarnham.

Mount Leinster is a high mountain pass located in the province of Leinster, Ireland, on the Blackstairs Mountains, at an elevation of 796 metres (2,605 ft) above the sea level. A tall RTÉ television transmittertops the peak with a mast height of 122 m.

On the road to Sally Gap, there are spectacular views of the surrounding blanket bog and the Wicklow Mountains. Sally Gap is one of two east-to-west passes across the Wicklow Mountains and the narrow road running through it passes above the dark waters of Lough Tay and Lough Dan.

The Slea Head Drive is a circular route, beginning and ending in Dingle, that takes in a large number of attractions and stunning views on the western end of the peninsula. The route is clearly labelled by road signs throughout its length. To properly enjoy the Drive, a half-day should be set aside for the journey.
